Effective book promotion for the author, agent or publisher • Go and type in to google.co.uk "Philip Gardiner", then test it against a well-known author. You will note one thing. That the name of Philip Gardiner is seen all over the net in thousands of places. It sells books - because people don't want to be left out. Plus, by doing this hundreds of leads are created which simply bring you more customers. You need a website, it doesn't have to be difficult and we can sort this out for you. We will get you seen, not just on google, but on yahoo, ask.co.uk and hundreds more. You will get spidered across the world, because people often forget that google for instance also has google.com, google.co.nz (New Zealand) etc etc.
• We have an emailing and fax list of live press contacts. There are over 25000 contacts on this list and all from many genres. These are split into countries and so we can target, Great Britain, Europe, America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. We will write the Press Release and get it approved by you. But remember, we know what they are looking for and each release will be tailored to the specific market place.
• We also have an emailing list of those kinds of clubs, ezines, societies, journalists etc that you would not have even thought of. Including people who arrange conferences and lectures - getting you invited to those must be seen places.
• You will need to write 2 or 3 articles from 500 to 3000 words and supply them to us. These need a stunning headline and to be interesting and not overtly pushing your book. These articles will go through a series of publicity campaigns for you starting with submissions to major magazines across the world, reducing down to medium and small magazines and then article submission programmes on the internet for ezines and like-minded websites to pick up! • Web-links and swapping. Once you have your website (if you don't already and you have listened to our advice regarding it) then we will spend hours on the internet getting your site linked to hundreds if not thousands of others of like-minded sites - thus bringing more interest and traffic.
• All UK/USA bookshops will be emailed about the book, including ALL Waterstones and Borders to ensure that they know about the book and offering book signings.
• All UK radio stations and TV speciality programmes will be emailed.
• These bullet points are just a few of the dedicated and lateral elements we will place into the marketing campaign to help you with Sell Through. All leads can either be sent directly to you from the media or via us, where we will respond immediately, tell them we will be back to them and then forward onto yourself for booking dates, articles, interviews, book signings etc. Or they can be forwarded directly to your marketing or PR person in your publishers.
• We will get lots of people wanting to review your book - if the book is good then there is not problem here, but be prepared to have lots of people wanting review copies.
